It’s the age old question, do nice guys finish last?
Well, in today’s society, unfortunately the word “nice guy” has gotten distorted where guys think they can’t be “nice” to women.
Listen, women are HUMAN BEINGS (yes, I know I sound like captain obvious there but go with me for a second).
Guys think they have to be black and white when approaching and dating them. Either you’re a “bad boy” or a “nice guy” and we all know nice guys finish last, right?
Wrong!
You can be NICE to a woman but you can’t be WIMPY.
Unfortunately, many guys think they’re being “nice” to her but what she’s seeing in her mind’s eye is a 3 year old in overalls. Good women want a NICE GUY but they don’t want a PUSHOVER.
The PUSHOVER is also known as Mr. Too Happy To Be There! The PUSHOVER gives a woman way too many compliments, acts nervous, gives her too many gifts and is WAY TOO accommodating to her whims and desires.
It is GOOD to treat a lady with respect (as long as she respects you). It is fine to show her a good time in a nice place. It is even all right with me if you pull her chair out and make her laugh a lot, as a true gentleman should.
It is NOT all right to make her think you haven’t had a date in the last 10 years by telling her how much you like her in hour one. All right, maybe you think, “I’m NOT that extreme!”
Really? Well, you forget that women are SUBTLE and they pick up on things a lot easier than us guys do. Giving her a ton of compliments and suggesting you go out again is JUST LIKE TELLING HER YOU LIKE HER.
As a GENTLEMAN you should aim to make her laugh, treat her with respect and make her WONDER if you’re seeing other girls or not.
You see, that is the advantage the bad boy has over the nice guys of the world. He’s got the devil may care attitude and puts it out there right away that she has to fight for his attention. Women tell you all the time that they want the “nice guy” but who do they end up with?
They end up with the “bad boy” that has the “take me or leave me” attitude.
I was watching a dating show and three guys were to be the “date” of one woman. One guy admitted to sleeping with hundreds of women and he didn’t care what she thought of that. Actually, he didn’t care what she thought at all. The other 2 guys on the show that were his “competition” spent the whole show trying to convince her why she should end up with them.
Guess who she chose?
Mr. “I don’t care what you think.”
So, are you feeling hopeless? Well, you shouldn’t.
The “bad boys” of the world don’t well wear over the long haul. Women don’t want a WIMP but they don’t want a guy that doesn’t care a lick about them either. They initially respond to the bad boys “CHALLENGE” but the deal is, he really doesn’t want anything to do with her.
If she’s not screwed up herself, she doesn’t want the bad boy over the long haul.
Good girls want a GENTLEMAN. He’s not a PUSHOVER and he CHALLENGES her to fight for his affection (initially) but when she finally lands him, she finds that he’s someone that will treat her with RESPECT, AFFECTION and ROMANCE because you know what? THE GENTLEMAN really does want a good woman.
So, do nice guys finish last?
No, WIMPY GUYS do.
Remember guys, they don’t want a WIMP.
